മതങ്ങൾക്ക് സത്യത്തെ ഭയമാണ്,

ദൈവങ്ങൾ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നില്ല .
പ്രെമിത്യൂസ് ബന്ധനസ്തനായതും,
ആദം ബഹിഷ്കൃതനായതും
അറിവിന്റെ വെളിച്ചത്തിലാണ്.
നേരിന്റെയും നിലാവിന്റെയും
കാതലായ തീക്ഷണ പ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ പോലെ
വാളല്ല വാക്കാണായുധങ്ങൾ.
പുസ്തകങ്ങൾ വായിച്ച്
വികാരം വൃണപ്പെടുന്നവർ
ദുർഗന്ധം വമിയ്ക്കുന്ന വൃണങ്ങളുമായി
സമൂഹത്തെ മലിനമാക്കാനിറങ്ങരുത്.
മാനവ സംസ്കാരം ജ്വലിച്ചു നില്ക്കുന്നത്
അവയുടെ ബലിഷ്ടമായ അസ്ഥിവാരത്തിലാണ്.

യുദ്ധം എവിടെയുമാകട്ടെ
ക്ഷതമേൽക്കുന്നത്
ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ
ചുവരുകല്ക്കാണ്.
കത്തുന്നത് തന്റെയോ
അപരെന്റെയോ വയലാകട്ടെ
പട്ടിണിയാകുന്നത് ജീവിതമാണ്‌ .
തരിശു നിലങ്ങൾക്ക്‌ താഴെ
വന്ധ്യമാകുന്നത്
ഭൂമിയുടെ ഗർഭപാത്രമാണ്.
എല്ലാവർക്കും കൂടി
കാണാവുന്ന
ഒരു സ്വപ്നം
ഉണ്ടാക്കിയെടുക്കാൻ
നമുക്കെന്നാണ് കഴിയുക
എല്ലാവർക്കും കൂടി
ചൊല്ലാവുന്ന
ഒരു പ്രാർത്ഥനയിൽ
നമ്മൾ എന്നാണ് ഒന്നിക്കുന്നത്
മഴയുടെ സംഗീതം കേൾക്കാൻ
നമ്മളെന്നാണ്
ഒരു മരച്ചുവട്ടിൽ
ഒന്നിച്ചു ചേരുന്നത്

ഊഴി വെറും ഭൂമിയല്ല
ഉഴുതു ഉഴുതുണ്ടായ മണ്ണ്,
അതിന്റെ ഓരോ അടരും മാറ്റുമ്പോൾ
വിയർപ്പും സ്വപ്നവും അരുവിയുമൊഴുകും.

How beautiful in this world
the beds of flowers enthrall
this path now bids me
why doth my heart impatient be
who longeth to meet me
perhaps,in the narrowing compass
what i had cherished is coming to pass.
somewhere some one's waiting for thee.
wherever i cast my eyes,
upon these paths
the breeze is cool the shade cool too,
how didst the rain clouds amass
that my heart was brought to such a pass
there's the river of tears for sure
what dream have i seen.

വിടർന്ന ചുണ്ടുകൾക്കിടയിൽ നിന്നും
അടർന്നു വീഴുന്ന ചിത്രശലഭങ്ങളുടെ രക്തം
തുടിയ്ക്കുന്ന വാക്കുകളാണ് എനിയ്ക്കിഷ്ടം.

No matter what
words on paper hurt like
my eyes became wet
and heart full of sorrows
this is the time I realized
what is pain.
There is a fire starting
in my heart,
it burn my mind and
the growth of pain have inside
sometimes it hurts
more to hold on.
without sleep coming
and embracing me
my sights will reach the moon
